A New You
I bought a new hard drive over the weekend. Put it into an old computer and installed Linux. I am now totally and officially a nerd. It works well, though! Now I can have all my Family Guy, Scrubs, Clone High, Undergrads and various other pirated material in one simple, 120GB volume! It is truly a force to be reckoned with.
Going up to the cottage this weekend. It’s funny, really, except not at all. The last time I was there I left early in the morning with Dad; just kind of stumbled out of bed and into the car. But I made absolutely sure, through my tired eyes, to say goodbye to Hershey, our dog, because I was pretty sure I’d never see him again. The vet told us July 8th would be the absolute best case scenario.
It’s now July 28. It’s weeks later, and I haven’t seen him since. He’s still going strong though, and I’m really looking forward to seeing my puppy again. I know there are some people who just don’t understand pets, and the attachments we form to them, but there’s definitely a real, tangible relationship one forms with these animals, as cheesy as that may sound.
After this weekend I’ll probably have to say goodbye to him for the last time again. It’s not quite as hard anymore; we grow to accept such things. We move on.
I’m using too many semi-colons in my writing again.
Epic rejection letter watch: Day 3.

I have never been so shamed in my life. Where did I go wrong to make you install Linux?
It’s not like I’m USING it. I just installed some fileserver software. It sits on the other side of the room, humming away. I don’t bother it; it don’t bother me.
It’s not like I know what an fprot is now or anything.
But you’ve heard OF fprot, and that means you are OUT OF THE FANCLUB. P.S. Camp Hyrule is calling, Raid the bonfire with me.
“DUDE COCO DON’T PLAY THERE IT SUCKS SO MUCH DUDE.”
“Hey Matt we should go hang out in Camp Hyrule it’s so awesome ain’t it huh?”
