All Apologies

Yesterday’s update was very livejournal-angst. This page is black enough as it is without me adding more to it.

Hershey’s doing really well. He’s eating and seems just like his old self. The vet has been very impressed with how quickly he recovered from the surgery. That’s good news in the short term, but he’s still saying that three months would be a miracle. It’ll probably be closer to one.

The dog isn’t in pain, so don’t worry. He looks normal — I can’t even tell he’s sick, just looking at him. We’re not going to let him suffer.

But yeah, here we are. I guess it’s just a matter of waiting. Staying positive. He had a great life and it’s been great having him — growing up with him. I hope I can let go, when the time comes.
