Don’t forget to adjust for wind speed!
Finally back home after a really fun weekend up north. The weather wasn’t spectacular, but since when did I like going outdoors anyway? Tim and I played Mario Golf all weekend — my favourite is Yoshi. Whenever we’d play multiplayer I’d only do his “Don’t forget to adjust for wind speed!” taunt. No matter what hole it was. Or if he was putting. He still needed to adjust for wind speed, god dammit.
I swear, you wouldn’t think a golf game would be so awesome, but it IS. The feeling you get when you sink a long shot for eagle is akin to climbing a large mountain. I assume, anyway. I’m not going to climb any large mountains any time soon.
Had to drive up to the cottage with my 17-year-old brother, his girlfriend, and two female friends of theirs. They watched “Blue Crush” on the Car’s DVD player. I couldn’t see the screen, as I was in the front seat, but just hearing the dialogue made me want to kill everyone around me in a flash of bright, burning electricity. Then on Monday Night I had to watch “Paradise Hotel” which I believe was referenced in the Bible, somewhere towards the back.
But even that couldn’t get me down. It was a good weeked of Mario Golf, movies, spending time with my dog, Mario Golf and more Mario Golf.
Summer’s ending soon, but I’m happy about that. It’s all about the fall — no classes until 10:30 on MWF and nothing until 1:30 on Tuesday-Thursday. Allllriight.
Going to go see American Wedding with my Dad on Wednesday Night. Is that weird? Please advise.

I don’t think it’s weird. I’ve always envied your relationship with your mom and dad. So long as that kid from the Sixth Sense isn’t in that movie you’re going to, I think you’ll be fine. That way, your dad can’t go “I bet he’s seeing dead people” every five minutes like he did when you went to that last movie with Haley Joel Osment in it.
