Groundswells of support
Well then.
Today I bring you one hundred and eleven pictures, covering what was THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR. It began with Kendall and Kristine banging on my door not ten minutes after I woke up, continued with a nice walk down to the harbour, a trip to the liquor store and a concert with a pretty damn good cover band (The Swell Guys, who did NOT know Mr. Jones, sadly). Along the way, we watched Mike drink A LOT of Colt 45 very quickly, which resulted in some rather unpleasant pictures towards the end of this batch.
We also some CELEBRITY PICTURES including a crazy close-up of Jim Reid, who I had a very nice conversation with at the after party (”Dude, if you want furniture, just go to Value Village”) and a few pictures of the band leader who probably thought I was crazy for following up my “Mr Jones” request with one for “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”
On a side note: There are like 25 pictures of nothing, bright lights, Jim Reid’s jacket at a distance, trees and Mike Weir’s feet somewhere in the middle of this batch. I’m sure at the time Mike thought he was taking Ansel Adams-quality shots, so I don’t blame him at all, but if you have a slow connection or no appreciation for the abstract you might just want to skip over pictures 57-84.
The pictures are Here.
