This is my house, I have to defend it
I spent today watching Home Alone on UPN 11 in bed. I am so shockingly lazy. I may never work again. I’m supposed to be looking for a job during the daytimes, when Pearle’s at work, but c’mon, Home Alone! It’s fun for the whole family.
It rained torrentially yesterday as we left Science World. The kind of rain that makes a smacking sound against concrete and deflects off the ground with a driving force. She took my hand and we ran across the parking lot to the car. Soaked hair and dampened clothes, we cursed our lack of an umbrella and my feet made a squishing sound as I ran across the grass. But we made it, we did. And god dammit, no one’s going to tell me I can’t see this as a metaphor.
Words words words.
Reading: The Invisibles by Grant Morrison, Tricky Business by Dave Barry, The SomethingAwful Forums and the Vancouver Courier: Downtown Edition.
I finally watched the latest episode of Six Feet Under the other day. God, this series is fantastic — why don’t you watch it? You can download new episodes every week. Can’t wait for the next one.
So many words. I will see you again tomorrow.
