Zero Hero, Nine A.M.
As I sit here and wait for my chicken nuggets to cool, I bring you new pictures of oh so very many things. They mainly cover this Friday Night, and last Friday night, with a smattering of other small events tossed in for flavour, but because I didn’t want to think about it too much, they are simply titled Totally Friday Nights.
But wait, before you click there, why not stay here for a while and let me tell you about some of the highlights from the pictures you are about to view.
- Once again, first things first — Happy 20th Birthday, Joshua Lee Bleser. May all your days be merry and your bank cards kept safely in your pocket.
- Well who could that be? Why, it’s my dad, making his graphicmatt debut. He visited about a week and a half ago. We had pizza, visited pajama-clad girls, and went up to Bayer’s Lake to buy Mario Kart. Also, the power at the Lord Nelson (sometimes called the Lloyd Robertson) went out while we were there, so I took pictures of that.
- I’m not sure what those shirts mean, but I think it’s important to remember that you don’t f**k biology, kids, you make love to it, and it’s as beautiful and natural as the tides. These pictures were taken on the BIOLOGY pubcrawl, that saw such events as pool playing, gambling and all-in-all, general merriment.
- Have you ever caught yourself making pancakes, only to realize that hey, these pancakes have a very low probability of getting me drunk? It’s okay to admit it. We’ve all been there. Well, sometime this past week, in a haze of exam-fueled inanity and confusion, our intrepeid scientists Dr. O’Sullivan and Dr. Mreze– uh, Dr. Bryan — decided to try to successfuly mate pancake batter with vodka. The result? Slightly odd-tasting pancakes and, of course, a group photo.
- Hey Josh Bleser, it’s your birthday! And the guy at the table behind you is utterly fascinated by your hat. Weird. Wow, what a great gathering of fun funny people. There was just so much love in the room, we could hardly stand it.
- And so much more. We had times of joy, times of longing, times of togetherness and, oh, of course, funk.
Enjoy them all. Your grandchildren will ask questions about them someday.
Matt
P.S. Our current record is 13 comments, for the last posting. I know we can beat it this time. Let’s get to it.

I don’t know. I must say, the clean shaven look is pretty damn classy, even if it does require more effort!

King’s FUN FACT: We spent the better part of last year watching French game shows which featured a lot of singing! Oh it was magical.
