Check me out
I was tricked for what seems like the THIRD time into writing for Sports-Den.Net recently. I don’t know how this keeps happening. Luke Adams e-mails me and says like “Please write for us” and I’m all like “Haha, no.” But then a few weeks pass and I just start thinking “Hey, what if this version of Sports-Den is actually successful and the staff finally gets those BIG PAY-OUTS they’ve been talking about since the very beginning?”
And so I end up writing.
Please go and read it, and then report back and tell me how great it is. I should note that very little on Sports-Den is actually about sports, as that would be sensical. My article, for example, is the introduction to a series of articles (to be completed around 2009) about the Halifax Music Scene! How wacky is it that I am writing about music on a site called “Sports-Den?” The answer: Very wacky.
And hey, go and read their forum as well! There is a hilarious poster there called “Rocket Over Ohio!”
Also, I have been fiddling with the CSS recently in order to try and make things more tolerable for those of you with lower resolutions and/or Macintosh computers. If things still look really out of whack for you, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Now, if you were in Halifax and not home, you would have gone to the best fucking show of the year here in Hali. That would be Tim MacNeill and the Groove Riot, at the Attic. Believe me. They were most excellently kickass and I’ve been home for an hour and a half so I’m not just still on the high.
I thought you only started writing for Sports-Den again when you found out that it’s such a chick magnet.
And I hate to be anal here (that’s a lie — I enjoy it), but “best fucking show of the YEAR?” That’s, like, 10 days!
But wow, my name in the second line of a graphicmatt.net update. I’m famous!
Um, magnificent? I’ll save my judgment for when you actually start talking about the Halifax music scene, instead of fantasizing about your timely death in a cement block.
Er– Sorry! By year, I meant since I’ve been in Halifax or “school year”. Best show I’ve seen in Hali since August.
You were right to be anal, I make little sense when I get excited. ^_^
