Kings: The Blah Blah Blahs

Hello. Here are some pictures I have taken. I would be enthusiastic about them but they are, honestly, not that cool! I have much cooler pictures but I can’t post them yet because I haven’t posted THESE yet and there’s no way I’m going to post things out of order. That would be an ethical misstep if I ever heard one. And if there’s one thing I love more than whatever deity it is I worship, it’s ethics. And Jem and the Holograms. They were a rockband that also stood up for what was RIGHT.

If you go forward into this article, you will encounter such horrors as i) me looking alternatively awful or blurry ii) Grimace, the big purple thing from McDonaldland iii) A turkey with a hand up its vagina! So click!

The highlights

• Because you demanded it. Here is another picture of me in a suit. My face is blurry because, really, it looks its best that way. There’s nothing that makes me look worse than in focus pictures. Also, Pearle is in this picture but, I mean, really, try to focus on me.
• I love this picture. If I had a frame and a printer that didn’t suck and some time and maybe some patience I would print this off and frame it and put it on my wall! I’d also need some photo paper, I guess. And a nail or some sort of hook. Yeah.
• Here we see Christina and Bryan doing some sort of science. Probably Astrochemistry. It’s funny because they look happy. I bet right after this picture was taken their professor was like “There’s no smiling in SCIENCE!” And then maybe he hit them with a science pole.
• Also there are a bunch of pictures of some sort of crawfish or creepy crawlie or something that Bryan needed for some stupid science presentation. (This one is scary!) I only posted them here because I am too lazy to delete them and also, because, hey, maybe one day you will take the same class as Bryan and need to do the same presentation and thus you will be able to just use these pictures instead of wasting your time taking new ones. You’d thank me, you would.
• This picture of Grimace and a very happy Mike used to have Kristine in it but she was blocked out by that stupid jerk in front of her. Getting a picture with Grimace has been one of Kristine’s life goals since the tender age of seven, and that her opportunity was destroyed by some jacket-wearing jerk sent her into a rage. We had to restrain her.
• Hahaha, I just noticed the guy in the background in this picture. Look at him, all posing for us! That guy is great!
• The above pictures were taken during Halifax’s Santa Claus Parade. The parade was pretty cool, even if it had like NINE goddamned floats featuring that stupid Grinch Santa from the recent Grinch movie. I was like “Santa’s coming!” and then it turned out to be the fucking Grinch.
• Also I think you can Canadian Idol finalist Gary Beals in this picture. I was hoping he would jump off the float and tell me how to work my cellphone but, honestly, that wouldn’t have made a lot of sense considering I don’t have a cellphone and also he was singing a Christmas song at the time. But it would have been awesome. “Hey guys you can play games on your cellphone!” “You’re full of shit, Gary!” “No, seriously!” “Wow! He’s right!”
• Feel free to follow, at your leisure, Mike Weir’s adventure breaking into the public gardens at night. It starts here. And then he couldn’t get out!. And then he still couldn’t get out!. And then he looked sad. As far as I know, he’s still there.
• “And that’s when I realized I hadn’t TECHNICALLY lost my virginity at all!
• The above was the Turkey, the centrepiece of our aptly-named Turkey Dinner. Bryan made a bunch of food one Friday because he loves us, I guess. It was pretty great. We had wine that was wine that was really hard to open (I’m helping!) and a group photo and this picture of Kristine which I forgot to rotate..
• And then there are more pictures which are mostly boring!
