I think that you should name him something needlessly complicated first, and then shorten it to something almost nonsensical. Like our newest kitty, Hebrides Queen of Scots Maiden of Linanci. We call her Maddie, but I pluralize that usually, or call her HoneyKitten, and it never makes sense at all.

PS: Those are the cutest pics I've seen in ages, and I usually don't enjoy dogs.

Having decided that the topic merited further investigation, I discovered that Krypto and Ace were in fact both founding members of the Canine Space Patrol Agency (CSPA). It is somewhat humbling to realize that while we bicker about their respective entertainment value, they quietly soldier on in the thankless defense of the cosmos. Man's best friend indeed.

I don't think you know me, unless you've been to the west coast. I would be the weird person making funny faces at strangers.

I've always liked Courage, the supposedly cowardly dog. The poor guy doesn't get nearly as much credit as he deserves.

Matt, If you're looking for dog's that are not so great as Ace, A good source would be the Hit TV series that aired from 92-94 entitled "Dog City".They have names, they are dogs and they couldn't be more mildly inspiring! Ace Hart, Rosie O'Gravy, Bugsy Vile, Mad Dog, Bruiser, Eliot Shag, Artie Springer...The list just goes on! ( http://epguides.com/DogCity/ ) (I like the way that Bugsy Vile rolls off the old tongue)
A quick google search for 'superhero dogs less inspiring than Ace' yielded this little tome of information that might be useful to you.

I need to get a real job

Hi 'chel! Do I know you from somewhere? I can't keep people straight!

In any case, I love you for reading this site. If you ever need a husband QUICK, I'm your guy.

I'm trying to think of superhero dogs LESS inspiring than Ace, but I'm failing, Rory, I'm failing!
Hmm, that's hard to follow. Anyway, leave Ace the Bathound alone. Maybe he wasn't a very pretty dog, but his heart was in the right place. As crime-crushing canines go, he's ok by me.

This is the first time I've ever felt the need to post something on your site. Actually, there isn't much of a need. I just wanted to say this: at least now I know I'll have something amusing to read for the next two years. My internet won't just be for downloading and reading webcomics...
