'Two Stupid Dogs' was the epitome of dog cartoon shows breaking the motherfucking fourth wall (one episode, a dog played on 'The Price is Right' for chrissake), but it probably only aired on some crappy American station.

Oh, it's totally real. It defines how bad Batman got in the 1960s and 1970s before finally being saved by Frank Miller. They did a goddamned isssue where Batman, Robin and Superman play BASEBALL, for christ's sake.

I never met Jono, but I did see him at a great distance once. He came to my school as some sort of publicity stunt to hand out some free tickets to his show. I was hungry so I went to get to lunch. A bunch of my friends DID meet him and actually ended up ON the show (asking questions to people who had joined the military or something), though.

I was pretty disappointed when I heard Torrens was on Trailer Park Boys. Partly because I just don't GET that show, and partly because, dude, you had your own talkshow! A small part in a comedy is a stepdown!
PS: I wish his bio mentioned that he did "Jonovision" or "Street Cents" rather than "Canada Day", which really isn't a show at all. It's a day. Blah. I wasn't too huge a fan of the original, but I'm starved for TV right now, so I will likely watch it, Canadian Idol and Amazing Race all summer.

PPS: Did I ever tell you I met Jono? At the Radio Shack in Moncton at Champlain Mall. I think it was in grade 9. It was kind of humbling. He bought a cordless phone.

I was expecting that to be from The Golden Age: Uncensored, but I think it's real. Awesome!
