Criminal Genius
I finally managed to update the site. You’ll notice that things are a LITTLE different in that i) The calendar doesn’t do that crazy fly-over thing anymore ii) The drop-down archives menu actually works (and shows you how many updates there were in any given month!), iii) The font is a bit weird because I am still trying to decide which font to use. Also, I haven’t reinstalled any of the plugins yet, so there might be about seventy spam comments posted in response to this tomorrow. Oh well. At least it works!
Oh, and Mitch Hedberg died. That’s too bad. He was really funny! If I had class tomorrow, I’d skip it in his memory!

I was really hoping that you were kidding about Mitch Hedberg, you know, some sort of GraphicMatt April Fool’s Day prank. But no. He really is dead. What a crappy way to start of Sin City Day.
The comment box looks cool, though.
What’s with these gigantic quotation marks. Bizarre.
Anyway, in honour of Mitch Hedberg:
My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana. I said “No, but I want a regular banana later, so yeah.”
I don’t like the yellow of this comment box. I demand you change it immediately. As well, the quick jump drop-down box must be tinkered with so that it aligns with the rest of the column properly. And I think this font you’re using has too much of a space between characters. I give this new iteration of the site a 7 out of 10.
Oh, and I saw Sin City last night. I’d never read the graphic novels, but, wow, the way they made the movie LOOK like panels in a comic was amazing. It’s a movie I actually want to go see again.
We went to go see Sin City last night but we got to the theatre and it was sold out. So we drove really fast to another theatre and we got in. But we were in the third row but we decided to just deal with it. Until this dude came in with a baby. A freakin baby at Sin City. It started crying before the movie even began. So we got refunds and we’re going to see it another night.
I’m very much looking forward to it because I walked into the wrong theatre at first and saw parts of the middle or end or something and it looked amazing.
The comment box? Not especially yellow for me, but I’ll look into it! And, also, the quick jump box looks good in Safari but NOT in Firefox — I just noticed because Firefox for the Mac? Kind of blows — so I’ll fix that. And tinker with the character spacing.
Also, I have added the spam filter plugin again. If anyone has problems posting comments, please send me an e-mail, but it seems to be working much much better than it did before!
Also, I too saw Sin City last night, and it was indeed a fantastic film. Gorgeously shot with great performances (from Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis especially). On the way out I got a Sin City condom! How great is THAT?
