As an aside, I feel like they made Wallace black and short so that he and Veronica could have this platonic relationship that wouldn't be one of those 'we all know they're EVENTUALLY going to hook up' deals. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I totally did not see the murderer coming, Luke. But it was almost the perfect reveal because, while it WAS unexpected, it wasn't out of nowhere. Looking back on the season, there were all sorts of clues. Obviously I don't want to SPOIL things here, but it really was a well-executed mystery.

Apparently there will be a season-long mystery for Season 2, as well. I've heard it's another murder. Hopefully it'll be as well-executed as Season 1 was.

Caroline: Early-season Veronica was probably the cutest girl EVER. For that reason, and that reason alone, I might advise against you styling your hair after hers. Because it might lead to me spacing out during conversations and wishing my name was Logan.

Plus, the pink is sort of your trademark, yo.

Kristine: I still have every episode of Veronica Mars. I will put them on CD or DVD so you can watch them on your computer! Hopefully you will get through the first season before the second season starts at the end of the month so we can watch it together. That would be awesome.

And I miss you too. I miss everybody!

Hey Matt--

Do you still have the Veronica Mars on your computer? Cause I need to see them. I only got to watch the first three or four episodes before the blasted night shifts began!

Also I miss you.

I am considering (and have been all summer, since I too watched the majority of the season within a ridiculous timeframe of a few days) cutting my hair in a Kristen Bell fashion. The earlier half of the series, that is, if you've noticed the difference. You and your snazzy blazers have convinced me that you are a fashionable male, and would have an opinion on this. My hair is very long these days, and Seth seems to like that... but he lives in Ontario and thus I'm feeling extra debateable.

I'm awfully excited that you watched the first season of Veronica Mars. I watched the final 19 episodes of season 1 in the span of 28 hours, which left me a bit embarrassed and sick but also sort of impressed with myself. That's a hardcore TV session. Anyway, yes, this was brilliant. Not to mention that between JTT and Zachary Ty Brian, I felt like I was watching a Home Improvement reunion special. Did you predict the killer ahead of time at all? I was totally caught off guard, though I like to think that perhaps if I'd had a week in between each episode to think about it -- rather than two minutes to get more food -- I would have picked up on it sooner. Anyway, I'm a bit wary of season two because the running underlying murder/rape plot was what I loved so much about season one (well, that and Kristen Bell) and they don't really have anything like that now. Except the thing about her mom, I guess. The writers seem to know what they're doing though, so I'm optimistic for now.

I really enjoyed Extras at times. I think a lot of the dialogue between Gervais and the Maggie character was fantastic, because it was about 50 times more realistic than the stuff in The Office, yet still funny. (This always bothered me about The Office: Half of the situations or conversations in that show would neeeeever happen. Like, remember the scene where they're talking about The Corrs at the office party, and when he describes how he'd nail them all, everyone just goes totally quiet for an 'awkward moment'? Have you ever seen anything like this happen in real life? Come on. Admittedly Extras suffers a bit from this as well with the caricature-esque Stephen Merchant agent, but I digress). And the finale was really clever and touching at the same time. I'm looking forward to another season.
