As luck would have it, however, I didn't have time to read this entry until today, the day after I saw Rent in theatres. So phew! I also thought the "everyone has AIDS" thing was a bit excessive, and I found myself constantly trying to determine if each of the characters had AIDS or not as they were introduced. However, that being said, I thought the actors were wonderful and so was the music, so I was completely satisfied. I did NOT know the plot to Rent, and you definitely WOULD have ruined it for me.
